One of the most interesting games of round 32 was a derby match between two teams from Holland. The game took place in Rotterdam where seventeenth rankedFeyenoord outleveled visiting Leeuwarden (14-16) 98-69 . Feyenoord dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Leeuwarden 's 40. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Feyenoord made 7 blocks. The winners were led by guard Caleb Vijber (185-2002) who scored that evening 24 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Maik Bouwer (202-1999, college: S.Nazarene) supported him with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Four Feyenoord players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 17 points and 12 rebounds by American guard Robin Duncan (196-1998, college: Vermont) did not help to save the game for Leeuwarden . Dutch center Shaquille Doorson (213-1994, college: Rutgers) added 18 points and 5 rebounds for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Feyenoord maintains seventeenth position with 8-22 record. Leeuwarden lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth place with 16 games lost. They share the position with Aalst.
